The first official trailer for “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” has releases and shows off a film filled with spectacle and a conqueror. The trailer shows off how Scott is doing post-Endgame and his overall recognition as a hero. Cassie Lang (now played by Kathryn Newton) is tinkering with a device that sends satellite signals to the Quantum Realm which triggers herself, Scott, Hope, Janet, and Hank to be transported there.
Janet is extremely angry at the idea of going back to the Quantum Realm and even reveals that she has been hiding some things about the time she spent trapped there. In the quantum realm, we see many different species and life forms including a very good looking Bill Murray.
While we still have yet to know who Murray is playing, it is exciting to see him joining the MCU nonetheless. The Quantum Realm has some very trippy and fantastical visuals that really expand upon what we have seen in the past Ant-Man films.
The most interesting part of the trailer was getting our first official look at Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. Majors looks almost identical to his comic book counterpart and I for one cannot wait to see how he portrays this role compared to He Who Remains in “Loki”.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” is set to hit theaters February 17th, 2023.
