The penultimate episode of “She Hulk: Attorney at Law” debuted and easily became the best episode of the series. The episode brought the long awaited return of fan favorite Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Charlie Cox returns as Daredevil in a fantastic way that brings a more comic book like version of the character on screen but retains some elements from the Netflix interpretation. Matt is clearly an experienced Daredevil that shows off the many abilities and skills he has in fun ways.
We even see a nod to his infamous hallway fight scenes from the Netflix series in the episode when he takes on a bunch of goons. One note on his return was that the new suit which is meant to be a recolored version of the Netflix version seemed a little puffier than when it was last seen. It is a minor nitpick but the red and gold suit overall worked really well on screen. This episode brought even more excitement to see “Daredevil: Born Again”.
Matt and Jen’s chemistry was undeniable and played off each other extremely well. Their chemistry was so undeniable that Matt ended up doing the walk of shame in the morning. Seeing them both in the courtroom and in their supersuits worked extremely well and was properly adapted. Even after Matt leaves the episode, the Jen arc of seeing her at the gala and going full raging hulk mode setting up the finale was great.
Episode eight is 9/10.
