The seventh episode of “She Hulk: Attorney at Law” released and did a little better than the last episode. The episode dove right into where fans wanted, where we see the relationship between Jen and Josh blossom. This moment of satisfaction was then immediately ripped away after Josh ghosts Jen after sleeping with her and is later confirmed to be a bad guy. It looks like he stole all the data off of Jen’s phone and likely stole her blood as he sent a text that implied it to the still unknown threat. The majority of the episode took place with Jen at Blonsky’s retreat center where she had to spend time with some other powered individuals. One of the comedic stand outs was Man-Bull who actually caused Jen to be stuck there in the first place. Man-Bull always controlled the scene and his jokes were on point. We see the return of Wrecker as Jen confronts him in a lackluster way where we find out nothing from him. One of the best scenes was seeing Jen confront her actual feeling about the She-Hulk persona and how that affects her mental state. This is a very important part of the character and seeing it acknowledged made the show feel a little more serious for a minute. We still have yet to see the payoff of the Daredevil tease but it could either happen in the next episode or finale.
This episode was a good comedic laid back episode that built the story a little better to see an end goal. Episode seven is 6/10.
