Andor Episode 7 Review

1 minute, 0 seconds Read

Following last week’s action packed episode, the seventh episode of “Andor” takes time to slow things down and focus on the characters.

Luthen and Mothma in conflict over the rebellion and who is willing to do more and Mothma clearly takes this to heart as she approaches a childhood friend to help with accessing money for the rebellion. Andor reunites with his mother and B2EMO and attempts to move with them but they refuse. In the end, it was okay because Andor ends up looking too suspicious on his vacation and gets arrested by a shoretrooper.

The episode ends with him being sentenced to prison for six years which was a shock because he was doing nothing. During his encounter with the shoretrooper, fans were teased as a droid who looks exactly like K-2SO chokes out Andor as a nod to who he will team up with in Rogue One. We also see the Imperial leaders catching onto the rebellion strategy which was easily one of the best parts of the episodes.

This episode was a really good character driven story and is setting up a lot of threads for the second half of the season.

Episode seven is 8/10.
