Armor Wars Switches From A Series To A Movie

“Armor Wars” starring Don Cheadle was set to be a Disney+ series but according to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter, this has changed. The once series is now set to be a movie and have a theatrical release in order to better serve the story. While little is known about the upcoming project, the main tidbit we have learned is that it will be set up by the upcoming series “Secret Invasion” and will deal with the idea of Tony Stark’s weapons falling into the wrong hands. Fans have been waiting for Rhodey to be his own lead, similar to Sam Wilson as Captain America, and now this film will give him his own spotlight.

There is no release date for “Armor Wars” yet but it is rumored to begin production sometime in 2023.
