Gotham Knights Releases Horrible Trailer

1 minute, 15 seconds Read

The CW released an awful new trailer for their upcoming series, “Gotham Knights”.

An initial teaser was released back in May of 2022 but received horrible reception. Because of all the backlash after the initial release, it was heavily rumored that the show would either be canceled or shelved before release.

The concept is not smart and created a bunch of random characters who look boring and dull rather than using the wide disposal of Bat-Family members who are already established and extremely popular.

However, it looks like the CW is sticking with it and premiering the series despite all the criticism they have received about past CW shows going down in quality and this one prior to release. After premiering the new trailer even more backlash came from social media about the poor quality and questionable choices in the show.

The show looks like “Riverdale” set in the CW’s DC universe. One specific detail in the trailer that has fans most upset is the way Batman is found dead. Batman is found wearing street clothes and only wearing his terrible cowl bleeding out. While there could be more context to this, it looks so illogical especially because this is the worst way to kill off such an integral and respected character.

Expectations for this show have been lowered even further than when the original teaser came out. It is very likely this series will be canceled going forward.
