Ryan Reynolds took to social media to post a video giving a big update about the upcoming “Deadpool” sequel. In it, he apologized for not showing up at D23 this year but made up for it by revealing that Hugh Jackman would be reprising his role as Wolverine in the film. Seeing the return of Hugh Jackman as Logan to finally reunite with Wade Wilson is a massive win for fans as they never got to have a comic book accurate interaction between the two on screen. Shawn Levy is still set to direct the project and his dream came true of uniting Jackman and Reynolds on screen for one of his projects. Ryan also gave a new logo and revealed the release date. It is now set to release on September 6th, 2024. “Deadpool 3” definitely just shot up in anticipation for fans and we can’t wait to see what they bring to us.
