“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” debuted its second episode and maintains the same fun tone from the pilot. Although the series is meant to be a half hour legal comedy, as soon as the episode ended, there was a “That’s it?” moment. It was certainly an enjoyable episode that is setting up plot threads for the series but makes you want more from the time you spend watching. Tatiana Maslany still kills it in the role of She-Hulk and leads the show well. Seeing Abomination back on screen and beginning to tease the reason for his cameo in “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” helps make this phase of the MCU feel a little more connected. Tim Roth had a great performance bringing back Emil Blonsky after not seeing him since 2008 in “The Incredible Hulk”. Speaking of Hulk, we see Bruce is dealing with the spaceship from episode one and it could possibly be setting up a World War Hulk storyline. There is even a very cool easter egg that points to Wolverine already existing in the MCU. “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” is a great casual series that doesn’t take itself too seriously and episode two successfully continues that tone.
Episode two is 7/10.
