She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 6 Review

2 minutes, 9 seconds Read

The new episode of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” released and decides not to pick up with the tease from last episode. While Daredevil’s helmet was shown at the end of the previous episode, fans assumed that Matt Murdock would be appearing in this episode. However, that unfortunately did not happen and fans will have to continue to wait until either the seventh or eight episodes as it is unlikely he will appear in the finale. The episode is a wedding episode that actually acknowledges the odd placement in the season by Jennifer. She breaks the fourth wall and says that it is ill timed just as all weddings are. We see Jennifer go to this wedding as She-Hulk only to draw too much attention from the bride so she has to stay in Jen form. While as Jen, she is treated like crap by the bride and bridesmaids but has a little sense of kindness from a attendee of the wedding named Josh. Josh and Jen have undeniable chemistry and make you happy for her when you see the two together. Hopefully we can see more of these two interact and possibly get together. Titania shows up to antagonize Jen by playing innocent but when the two are alone together Titania attacks Jen leading to one of the funniest brawls in the series. The fight was very brief but we get to see She-Hulk wipe the floor with Titania. Her teeth get pretty messed up leading to a funny illustration of Titania at the dentist in the credits. Titania is one of the most irritating characters in the series so that scene made her annoyance worth it. TH either half of the episode follows Nikki and Mallory take on a case with comic book character, Mr. Immortal, versus his previous spouses. This half of the episode was not interesting nor served the story whatsoever. Two things were set up at the end being a site that is targeting She-Hulk and a new version of the needle used to get Jen’s blood from an unknown threat. It could be that this new threat could actually be an old one: The Leader. It was just announced that Tim Blake Nelson will be returning as The Leader in “Captain America: New World Order” after 14 years. The Leader wanted Hulk’s blood in his last appearance so why not go for She-Hulk’s? We will have to wait and see if this theory turns out right.

While the episode was okay at best, it wasn’t as good as the previous episode. Episode six is 5/10.
