The Flash Final Season Episode 7 Review

1 minute, 21 seconds Read

Another episode of “The Flash” and yet another filler episode that ruins the final season of this series.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Story

This episode sees the return of Nicole Maines as Nia Nal/Dreamer from “Supergirl”. Nia meets with Iris due to seeing her die in a dream and they both fall into a dream. They explore different possibilities for their lives while Barry, Chester, Allegra and Cecile try to help them. Khione and Mark get into an altercation which leads their bond to end. Finally, Iris and Nia escape and it turns out their falling into a dream was for their betterment.

The Good

There were only two redeeming parts of this episode.

The first was seeing how Iris’ life could’ve been different in history. Seeing her take on new roles in the show actually gave her come character development and even brings back some nostalgia from the first three seasons of the series.

The second was that Mark is seemingly leaving Central City. His character was so unnecessary and it is good that he is being finally written off.

The Bad

For an episode called “Wildest Dreams” it certainly was a snooze fest. This felt more like closure for a character of another show who was in no way related to this series. The writers are dropping the ball so far with this season and ruining the legacy of the series. It is genuinely concerning that we are now over halfway through the season and virtually nothing about Barry has happened.

Review

This episode was a complete waste of time and really was not worth watching at all. Episode seven is 3/10.
